Dropkick Murphys Announce New Dates

Brian MacKenzie Teepell/USPA 24 News - Dropkick Murphys have announced their 2027 Boston St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration, featuring four shows and 12 different bands across MGM Music Hall at Fenway and House of Blues Boston.

The annual hometown tradition will kick off on March 12th with Fiddlehead and Wisdom in Chains, followed by Home Front, Spiritual Cramp and Cittizins on March 13th. The March 14th show will feature an intimate in-the-round performance with Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, Ben Nichols of Lucero and Jesse Ahern. The celebration will wrap up on March 17th with The Amazing Royal Crowns, Red Rockers, Liberty and Justice, and Restraining Order.

The band will also bring back its "FOR THE KIDS MINI-CONCERT" on Saturday, March 13th, at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Featuring a shorter, lower-volume set, the family-friendly show will begin at 2 pm, with doors opening at 1 pm. Each ticketed adult can bring up to two children under 14 for free, with all proceeds benefiting the band's charitable foundation, the Claddagh Fund.

The band was initially signed to independent punk label Hellcat Records; they released five albums for the label and built a reputation around New England and the East Coast through persistent touring. They expanded their schedule to include national and international tour dates, and began a tradition of yearly St. Patrick's Day week shows, held in and around Boston.
